Laughlin Pioneer Venue to Bring Back Gambling with New License

The Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall of Laughlin will have gambling once again thanks to a new license provided to Intrepid Pioneer, LLC., late last week. Applications were sent to the Nevada Gaming Commission a short time ago and approved on Thursday to see gambling machines operating in the casino property, a venue with a 40 year history.

Ready to Go:

The venue is ready to go, set to begin offering new games on August 31st. The license-holder has already been working on renovating the property and will have games on offer in just a few days time.

According to Mohave Daily News…

The Chief Executive Officer of Intrepid, Jon Berkley, commented: “We plan to reopen the renovated casino complete with hundreds of new games on Friday, August 31st.”

The company first became involved with the property in Laughlin around three months ago, with a lease agreement signed that stated the company would be working towards reviving 7BALL the casino. The company is associated with several casino and hotel properties in the state of Nevada.

Approval Was Expected:

It was expected that developer would be approved to offer casino gaming, it was just a matter of time. The Nevada Gaming Control Board recommended the application for approval first, with stipulations set before opening could occur. The Nevada Gaming Commission also approved the application based on conditions, such as procedures for bookkeeping as well as a surveillance system.

The property has plans to host a soft opening on the 30th then the grand opening will take place the very next day. The Facebook page and website for the New Pioneer has been discussing the anticipated launch as the brand waited for licensing approval.
