NetEnt granted New Jersey license; first in U.S. for firm

Swedish online casino games developer, NetEnt AB, has announced that the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (NJDGE) has granted it a permanent C 7BALL asino Service Industry Enterprise license, after having operated in The Garden State since 2015 under a transactional waiver from the state’s gaming agency.

Transactional waiver:

According to the official press release…

The casino service industry enterprise license was applied for four years ago via its NetEnt Americas LLC subsidiary. In September 2015, the Stockholm-headquartered firm secured the transactional waiver from the NJDGE permitting it to supply online casino games in the state of New Jersey while a review of the full license application was being processed.

Commenting on the approval, Managing Director for NetEnt Americas LLC, Erik Nyman, said…

“We are very pleased to obtain our first permanent online gaming license in the US. We have been present in New Jersey since 2015 and have supported the regulator throughout the licensing process. The license marks yet another step in our US expansion as we hope to enter additional states if and when they regulate online casino.“

The announcement by the brand of what is its first online gaming license in the U.S. builds upon a renewed emphasis outlined in its fourth quarter 2018 and full-year 2018 report published on February 12, 2019.

Future projects:

Having just returned from ICE in London, where they delivered a number of new products, it recently announced Ozzy Osbourne as the latest addition to its Rock series and will also be creating a game based on the fictional sword and sorcery hero, Conan.

The developer has also revealed that this spring it will be releasing a new game in collaboration with eight-times champion British jockey, Peter Scudamore.
