Gambling (or ‘gaming’) is one of the oldest forms of entertainment. Thousands of years ago, when humans settled down and could stop worrying about where their next meal was coming from or being eaten by a sabre-tooth tiger, people were rolling the dice and hoping for a lucky break. Cloudbet is happy to provide you with the same satisfaction in true hi-tech 21st century style.

While we emphasize the fun side of gaming, we also believe that players should be in the know about how we operate and what to expect regarding rules and regulations. Please have a read through all the info on this page, it’s all there in black and white and in complete honesty and open disclosure. An informed better is a happier better!

ABOUT ONLINE CASINOS

Be warned! We’re going to throw around a bit of terminology down below, but read on and soon you’ll be sounding like a pro, impressing people at parties or bowling them over at barbecues with your in-depth knowledge. So here goes…
But first:
1. It’s great entertainment!
Online casinos welcome everyone – young (but not underage!) or old (no upper age limit here). Whether you’re a serious gambling enthusiast or just enjoy a little flutter on the slots now and then, anyone can experience the fun and excitement with the chance of a major lucky streak.
2. You can be a winner!
While we strongly suggest you don’t give up your day job, gambling can be both really enjoyable entertainment AND give you a shot at winning some real money. But please remember, responsible gamblers know when to stop.
3. There’s no dress code!
Play in your pyjamas or birthday suit, in the comfort of your own home, on the bus or at the beach – we don’t mind.
4. It’s a business!
Online casinos are like any other business: they need to make money to stay open. Below you’ll find some information on how casinos  – Cloudbet.ag included – are able to be profitable while still offering their players really good chances to win.
ABOUT ONLINE CASINOS
ABOUT ONLINE CASINOS
Okay, here’s the lingo lowdown on online casinos’ operating principles:
Random Number Generator (RNG)
A random number generator, or ‘RNG’, is how an online casino’s odds are calculated. This tool creates the randomness in the results of any hand, spin or bet played at any reputable casino and cannot be manipulated or adjusted by anyone or any entity. It’s a complex and weird process, but the mighty RNG guarantees that players can trust that the odds are always completely random. Only Lady Luck can beat the odds. (Although, in certain games skill and experience can help.)
House Edge
The ‘house edge’ refers to the calculated advantage that casinos have over the players, and which is built directly into the odds. The house edge obviously allows casinos to make a profit, but still lets players have good chances of winning. This advantage or ‘edge’ is usually very small, so the casino must rely on as many people placing great numbers of bets to make a profit over time.
A Roulette wheel is an easy way to demonstrate ‘house edge’. All the numbers bar one are either red or black, so betting on red or black gives players almost a 50-50 chance to win. But the single pesky little green segment (the number 0) pays out to the house, making the odds of winning from a black/red bet just slightly less than 50%. That tiny margin gives the casino the house edge it needs to be profitable.
House edge varies from game to game but generally, the games considered to have the lowest house edge and therefore greater chances of winning (if you play your cards right!) are: Blackjack, Craps, Baccarat, Three Card Poker and Video Poker. Slots offer the best chance of big wins over a short time, but have higher house edges than many other casino games.
HOT TIP:
Blackjack has one of the lowest house edge margins and many players believe they have a system that works for them. But if you really want the best shot at beating the house, Google ‘perfect strategy blackjack’ and start practicing. You’re welcome!
Return to Player (RTP)
The Return to Player is basically the opposite of the house edge. If the house edge is the statistical advantage that the house has over the player, the RTP is the expected mathematical monetary return to a player. This percentage is calculated ‘over an infinite amount of time’ because huge swings in ‘variance’ (explained below) mean that any one or group of bets can swing wildly towards winning or losing. This is where the perception of ‘the gods of fortune are smiling on me’, ‘bad luck’, ‘terribly bad luck’ and ‘the luck of the draw’ all come into play.
But all this variance eventually evens out over time and over huge numbers of bets. It pretty much boils down to ‘swings and roundabouts’, because the RTP finally can be calculated exactly as it was planned. For example: If the RTP on a game is 97.5% and a player bets $100, the player can expect (taking variance out of the equation) that they will get $97.50 back. Of course this never happens – one player will lose it all, another will win $10,000, and everyone else will fall up and down the scale. In the end, the house will always recoup 2.5%.
HOT TIP:
While experienced players know the games that they like and don’t like and have systems to handle variance, new players who want to have the best chances to win should consider the RTP percentage of the games they choose to get the most value for their deposits. The higher the RTP, the better your chances.
Variance
‘Variance’ is simply the unpredictability of outcomes in gambling. If it was always a sure bet, then it wouldn’t be ‘gambling’! Variance is the mathematical deviation from what we would expect on a bet based on the house edge or RTP. Variance lessens the closer we move from a single bet to an infinite number of bets. Think of it this way: If you flip a coin 10 times and the odds suggest that you will get heads 50% of the time and tails 50% of the time, this will almost never happen. You might get tails 7 times and heads only 3, or any other combination. But technically, if you flipped a coin 100,000,000 times you’d be much more likely to be close to a 50/50 split of heads and tails because the variance is being evened out through more and more flips.
Once you understand how variance makes gambling so unpredictable, you’ll understand why some players might have a run of terrible ‘luck’, where they just can’t win, while others are on fire and just can’t lose. It’s all thanks to variance.
HOT TIP:
Next time you’re having a bad run and you feel as though it’s just not your day, remember that eventually – statistically – you WILL start winning again. This is how variance works!
Volatility
‘Volatility’ is very closely related to variance, and usually used in the context of slot games, referring to the degree that variance plays in the odds of a given slot. High volatility games (sometimes even called ‘high variance games’) will have a high level of variance baked into them, while low and medium volatility games will obviously have less.
While high variance/volatility seems like a negative, this is not necessarily true. It really depends on your attitude to risk, and here’s why:
While it’s very common for high volatility games to go for long periods of time without paying out, when they do pay out they pay BIG. Players who are willing to play through the variance will eventually get rewarded with one or more huge wins when the game does eventually hit. Conversely, low variance games often pay out many small wins consistently but rarely offer the huge jackpots of higher variance slots.
HOT TIP:
Build up your balance by starting small, with lower volatility games, then work your way up to medium volatility ones for better rewards when you have the resources to deal with more variance. Eventually, if you your balance is comfortable enough and you’re willing to take some greater risks, move on to some high volatility games and try your luck – you could just hit the jackpot!

ABOUT OUR BONUSES & WAGERING REQUIREMENTS

ABOUT OUR BONUSES & WAGERING REQUIREMENTS
ABOUT OUR BONUSES & WAGERING REQUIREMENTS
Bonuses are kind of ‘free money’ but with certain restrictions and conditions which we explain below. At Cloudbet.ag we offer a range of generous bonuses – to encourage new players to sign up with us, to tempt gamers to try a new slot that’s just been added, and to reward our loyal regular customers and make sure they know they are appreciated and recognized.

Cloudbet Bonuses

We offer new players signing up for the first time a great Welcome Package Bonus of 500% of deposit, up to $2500 (with a maximum cashout of 10x deposit amount). Alternatively, the Player can also accept a 150% match bonus without a maximum cashout requirement.
New account holders also get 150 free spins on making their first deposit, which they must use over 3 days on these slot games:
Day 1: 50 Free Spins: Mystic Wolf
Day 2: 50 Free Spins: Golden Gorilla
Day 3: 50 Free Spins: Five Times Wins
The Player’s account balance must be 30x the win amount on the free spins before they can apply for a withdrawal. The fixed maximum withdrawal on welcome free spins winnings is $100. For example, if your account balance was $30, and you won $100 on your free spins, you would need to win another $2970 elsewhere before cashing out your free spins win.

Wagering Requirements

Before you can cash out any winnings derived from a bonus, you will need to have met the wagering requirements, also known as ‘rollover’ or ‘playthrough’ (how much money you need to bet before withdrawing winnings), often calculated as a multiple of the bonus or in the case of match bonuses, the bonus plus your activating deposit.
The playthrough requirements are really just to protect a casino from unscrupulous players claiming a bonus then immediately cashing out. However, Cloudbet.ag strives to keep our playthrough requirements as low as possible, giving you a fair chance of coming out on top!

Bonus Restrictions

You will see that bonuses may only be used to play certain games, or are restricted in others. In many cases, games with a higher RTP (return to player) require higher betting to meet requirements, while some games are excluded completely.
Bonus restrictions can also refer to bonuses not being available in certain countries known to have high rates of abusive players. Like wagering requirements, bonus restrictions exist to protect the casino from advantage players. However, we try to put as few restrictions on bonuses as possible while still protecting ourselves from abuse.
Below you will find the list of game restrictions standard on most bonuses. You’ll notice that in most cases games are not actually ‘restricted’, they just require higher wagers to meet requirements.

Wagering Contributions

Here is the standard list outlining how betting on each game type typically contributes towards bonus wagering requirements. Some bonuses might have a different set of wagering contributions, but they will be clearly outlined in the bonus description elsewhere on our website.

TYPES OF BONUSES

Cloudbet tries to be as creative as possible with bonuses and promotional offers, but most bonuses can be grouped into a few different categories.
Match Bonuses
Match bonuses, also known as ‘deposit bonuses’ or ‘deposit match bonuses’ are when a casino matches a player’s deposit with its own money. Match bonuses are often represented as multipliers of the deposit amount.
Cloudbet.ag offers a generous 500% Welcome Matching Deposit Bonus up to $2,500 (Max Cashout) or 150% up to $1,500 (No Max Cashout)
When making your first Bitcoin deposit, receive 600% up to $3,000 – click here to see how easy it is to create your own Bitcoin wallet.
Playthrough requirements on deposit match bonuses are usually a multiplier of the bonus plus the deposit amount.
No-Deposit Bonuses (Free Chips)
No-deposit bonuses, also known as ‘free chips’, are bonuses that are not tied to any deposit. They are often given as gifts for loyalty, awards for tournaments or in some cases to simply give players an additional chance to win. Wagering requirements on no deposit bonuses are often higher than those of match bonuses because they are completely free bonus money, not requiring an activating deposit therefore the potential for abuse is high.
Playthrough requirements on no deposit bonuses are usually a multiplier of the bonus amount, e.g. 30 X (Bonus) = Wagering Requirement
Free Spins
Similar to no-deposit bonuses, Free Spins are not tied to a required deposit. Free Spins are granted as a number of spins on a particular game or number of games, rather than a dollar value. The amount per spin that a player can bet with free spins is often locked to a preset amount and sometimes even the games on which the free spins can be used are predetermined. Playthrough requirements on free spins are usually only applied to wins from the free spins and are a multiplier of the win amount, e.g. 30 X (Free Spin Winnings) = Wagering Requirement.
Note: During your Free Spins, your real account balance will be hidden, and your Free Spin wins will be temporarily displayed instead. Your balance will start at $0.00 at the beginning of your Free Spins activity and increase as you win on your Free Spins. At the end of your Free Spins, any winnings will be added to your existing balance, and the total amount will be displayed. Please be sure to complete your Free Spins before exiting any game.
Free Cash
Free cash is as simple as bonuses get, it’s literally just free cash deposited directly into a players account. Free cash bonuses have no wagering requirements and occasionally they don’t even have bonus restrictions. While free cash bonuses tend to be rare due to the high possibility of abuse, loyal players will sometimes find they’re rewarded with free cash bonuses as a ‘thank you’ from our team to them for their patronage.
Sticky Bonuses
Occasionally you will see the term ‘sticky’ used when referring to a bonus. This is not actually a type of bonus as much as it is a modification of a bonus. When a bonus is ‘sticky’ it simply means that the bonus amount granted cannot be withdrawn in the case of a win.
For example, if you claim a 50% sticky match bonus and deposit $100 you will begin with $150. Let’s say that you have a couple of big wins and bring your balance up to $1000. Provided you’ve met the wagering requirements of the bonus you are now free to cash out your winnings. In this case, because the bonus is ‘sticky’ the bonus money you initially received ($50) will be removed from your balance on cashout and you will only be able to withdraw $950.
Max Cash Out Bonuses
Often, in the cases of very large deposit match and free chips, there are maximum cashout limits added to bonuses. Simply put, bonuses with these restrictions have limits on the amount you can win from them. The max cash out amount is often a multiplier of the deposit plus bonus amount, or in the case of free chips, simply the bonus amount.
Adding max cashouts to bonuses allows us to offer bonuses much larger than we’d be able to without these restrictions. This means that although the amount you can win from the bonus is limited, your likelihood of winning from the bonus is often increased due to the extra amount of playtime you get from the large bonus.
Please enjoy these bonuses but be mindful that when you win, the amount that you’re able to withdraw might be limited. Always familiarize yourself with the terms of every bonus you claim before you deposit so you’re sure you’re claiming the bonus that’s right for you.

We understand that with the excitement of winning (congratulations!), you’re dying to get that money in your hot little hands as quickly as possible. At Cloudbet.ag we pride ourselves on paying our players as quickly, efficiently and safely as possible. But there is a process to go through, for your safety and ours, so read through what we do from our side and what you need to do from yours.

Authorization Periods

As is standard with all online gaming websites, every cashout must go through a brief audit before being released. These audits are necessary to ensure a number of checks have been put in place, including:

  • The correct amount is being sent
  • The winning players account info is correct
  • There has been no fraudulent activity on the account such as the use of stolen credit cards or machine playing
  • The correct info has been submitted for the appropriate payout method
  • The playthrough on any claimed bonuses has been met. Playthrough requirements are clearly stated at the time of claiming a bonus. If you are unsure what these are, please contact our friendly support team.

We are committed to keeping our authorization periods on all withdrawals for players with verified accounts to 48-72 hours or less. This means, barring any unforeseen circumstances, players with approved docs can expect their withdrawals within 48-72 hours of their request, often quicker! Non depositing players who have winnings as the result of free money, such as free chips or free spins, might experience longer payout times as depositing player withdrawals are always prioritized.

TIP: To make sure that when you win, you get your payout as quickly as possible, be sure to send in your security documents for pre-approval at your earliest convenience. This way, when you do request your withdrawal this important step will already be complete. Contact our friendly support team for access to your security doc request form and get started now.

Cloudbet Online Casino, like all forward-thinking organizations, is well into the digital age, and cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin are fast becoming the definitive way to do business, including transacting on online casinos, as well as making general online purchases.

While some economists predict that traditional forms of money may eventually become obsolete, don’t worry if you’re ‘old school’ and keep your money in a sock under your mattress – we won’t judge. And we will still accept credit cards and other e-wallets!

That said, cryptocurrencies are the way forward for some very good reasons, and Cloudbet.ag offers deposits and withdrawals in Bitcoin – currently the largest and most secure cryptocurrency. The advantages of using Bitcoin include increased security, convenience (you can send or receive Bitcoin anywhere in the world instantly) and privacy (no banks or governments are involved, your transactions are completely private).

Cloudbet Online Casino offers a special Welcome Bonus for those players who choose to deposit and withdraw using a Bitcoin wallet – a 600% matching bonus up to $3,000!

If you’re keen to embrace the future and ‘get with the program’ with this exciting (and ultra-handy) new form of currency, we recommend using this easy-to-navigate page: https://www.Cloudbet.ag/crypto-deposit/ that will take you through the steps of opening your own Bitcoin wallet. Slot Machines

Who doesn’t like a good old slot machine The colors, the visuals and the instant gratification when you win. It’s quick, it’s easy and so much fun! And these days there are so many options to choose from.

How it works:

Slot machines are completely random and your luck is determined by mathematical models. A random number generator (RNG) determines the outcome. Different variations of the mathematical model will affect the chances of winning big or small jackpots and also the frequency of such. Don’t worry – all these mathematical models are certified by testing labs to ensure that they are completely random, and no one has tampered with them. Cloudbet Online Casino prides itself on the large variety to keep you from getting bored.

Classic Three Reel Slots

This is probably what you think of when you first hear the word slot machine. It is the traditional slot machine with three reels showing various symbols depending on the game you are playing. It is a great place to start if you are new to slots as they are simple to understand and so much fun to play. The best part is that you can still win large jackpots! This makes these classic three-reel slot machines immensely popular, whether you are a beginner or a gaming enthusiast.

Video Slots

Video slots usually have at least 5 reels and as a result, offer more win-lines than a classic three-reel slot. This is to give you more bonuses and ways to win the game. Video slots are far more dynamic and are designed to enhance the gaming experience with exciting graphics, animations, and sounds. Video slots are the most popular online slot machines around – and Cloudbet boasts one of the largest selections in the industry. We can’t wait for you to experience the wonderful world of video slots here at Cloudbet.ag.

3D Slots

As the name suggests 3D slots are video slots that are designed to make the screen look like it is in 3D. This makes the gaming experience far more immersive. You feel part of the game in a completely different way – it is almost as if you could reach out and touch the characters. It truly is a multi-sensory experience.

Progressive Slots

Say hello to progressive jackpots! And what is this you might ask Well, basically the size of progressive jackpots are partly determined by bets made by the players. When placing a bet on a progressive slot, a small percentage of that bet will be contributed toward the jackpot amount. So really, the sky is the limit here! It is no wonder that progressive slots are extremely popular with all players as the jackpots can be huge! If you’re looking for big pay-outs and life-changing wins, progressive slots at Cloudbet are the place to be.

Table Games

They are slick and stylish – just like in a James Bond movie. And just like Mr. Bond – you can try your luck at Roulette or sit down for a few heart-pounding hands of blackjack – Cloudbet has them all. The wildly popular blackjack and roulette are just the beginning – Baccarat, Roulette, and Pai Gow are all on offer – each with their own unique sense of style and experience. The best thing is to try them all to find out which one you prefer.

We have made sure that all our games provide clear instructions on how to play, but please click on the links below to find out more about the Cloudbet Online Casino games if you want to optimize your play.

Object of the game:

The object of Blackjack, also referred to as 21, is to beat the dealer in a hand without going over 21. You can just as easily win by standing (refusing more cards) at a reasonable number which is his enough for the dealer to be forced to hit (ask for another card). In other words, you can win by either coming closer to 21 than the dealer bust (go over 21). The strategy you will employ while playing blackjack online for real money is situational. We will provide with the rules and regulations and basic strategy here to get you off on the right foot.

Before we go over the rules, there is one thing that is the key to being a successful Blackjack player. This is something that you need to do before the cards are even dealt. You need to make sure you have the proper mental approach to the game. It’s you vs the dealer. Once you make that your primary focus, you will stop making silly mistakes that cost you money (we’ll get into examples of things to avoid). Too often players make the mistake of just focusing of trying to get as close to 21 as possible instead of playing against what the dealer has. By the end of this tutorial, you will understand exactly what we mean by you against the dealer. In order to fully comprehend any for of strategy, you will need a proper foundation so let’s go over the basic rules of how to play the game.
Blackjack can be played with 1 up to 8 decks of 52 cards

Card values:
1. Cards 2-9 are face value (the number on the card is the true value).
2. Aces = 1 or 11 (you make that decision based on strategy we will go over later).

3. 10-K (meaning all 10’s and face cards) = 10 points.
To calculate the value of your hand, you take the value of the individual cards you were dealt and add them together.
The highest hand you can get is a “Blackjack” meaning you got at least one Ace and any point 10-point card (10 to King). This hand is an automatic winner meaning even if the dealer somehow got a total of 21 but it wasn’t a true “Blackjack” you win. When you hit a true “Blackjack” rest assured that you can’t be beat.
Betting takes place before the cards are dealt.
After bets have been placed, the dealer will deal each player 2 cards and then 2 more to himself.
One of the dealer’s 2 cards is dealt face down.
In Blackjack terminology, this is called the “hole card” (we will provide a glossary with all of the terminology at the end of this article).
If the card that the dealer has showing is an Ace, he will offer something called “Insurance”. An “insurance” is a side wager that pays 2 to 1 if the dealer’s “hole card” is any 10-point card.
***Please note that “insurance” bets can seem a little confusing if you don’t have much experience playing blackjack but not to worry, its much simpler than you think. Just remember:

1. “Insurance” bets are optional.
2. If you do make an “insurance” bet it can’t more than half your original wager. (Remember that you bet before the cards are dealt, therefore if you make an “insurance” bet, it can’t be more than half of your original bet).
3. After offering “insurance”, the dealer will peak at his facedown card to see if he has a “Blackjack”. If he does, he will turn over his cards immediately to reveal it.

4. In the case that the dealer does have a “Blackjack” all hands lose except those that took “insurance”. The only exception is if a player also has a “Blackjack”, that would result in a “push”.
Fore more information on “Insurance” bets, click the following link.
Play begins with the player to the dealers left.

Here are your choices once you’ve been dealt your cards:
1. Stand:
You don’t want any more cards.
2. Hit:
You want to be dealt another card (or more if you wish). If this card or cards cause you to go over 21, you lose.
3. Double:
You double you bet but you are only allowed 1 more card.
4. Split:
If you have a pair or any two cards with a 10-point value, you have the choice of splitting them meaning you split the 2 cards you were dealt and double your original bet. At this point, the dealer will give each card (your pair that you split up) a second card. Then you can make all the standard choices from here (stand, hit or double). Aces are treated differently. The difference is simple, if you split two Aces, you will only get 1 more card. You can’t get a “Blackjack” on split cards, the best hand you can get is “21”. You can keep re-splitting up to a total of 4 hands.
5. Surrender:
You forfeit half of your wager and do not play out the hand. This option is only available on the initial 2 cards.

The dealer plays after each player at the table has had their turn. If the dealer has 16 or less, he will draw another card.
If the dealer goes over 21, everyone at the table that didn’t “bust” wins.
If the dealer does not “bust” then whoever has the higher total between the dealer and the player wins

Winning wagers pay even money (1:1…you win as much as you bet). If you have a blackjack that means it pays 3:2 (or 1.5 to 1 meaning if you bet $100 you win $150).

Time to talk strategy

Before we give you advice on how to play, we feel it’s important to start with what not to do. When playing online blackjack for real money, what not to do will save you as much money as any strategy we can possible give you. Here are a few tips:
Don’t be afraid to bust
Paying too much attention to the how the dealer plays

Basic strategy

There is a chart for basic poker strategy that details what you should do depending on the hand you have and what the dealer has. The thing is, unless you’re a professional Blackjack player, who really has time to memorize what should be done in every situation That being said, if you’re playing online blackjack for real money, you want to at least have a plan in place to maximize your profits. With that being said here are some basic rules you shouldn’t break according to the math.

1. Surrender a “hard” 15 vs a dealer that shows a 10
2. You should always split Aces and 8’s
3. You should never split 5’s and 10’s
4. Double a “hard” 9 vs a dealer that has 3 to 6
5. Always hit “hard” 11 or less

6. Always “stand “on “soft” 19 or more

The thing about these basic rules is that it’s about math. In previous explanations, we went into great detail about the do’s and don’ts. The reason steps 1-6 are so straight forward is because that’s what math is. There are way more rules than what we presented but like we said earlier, that requires memorizing what to do with each possible hand that you may have vs each possible hand that the dealer may have. You will find that even people who consider themselves experienced players have a very hard time with this.

Counting Cards

Please be warned, this isn’t Hollywood. Counting cards in general should be left to the experts not to mention that it takes years of practice playing thousands of hands. The edge that people feel like they are getting from whatever card counting strategy can be misleading to say the least. Regardless if you are playing online blackjack for real money or doing it at a casino, you need to understand that “The House” (gambling terminology for a casino) will take every possible measure to stop that from happening. How do they do it Online casino’s use a computer programme with a random number generator that gets these numbers from fresh deck after every hand. As for live casino’s, it depends on the machine. This is an online casino so it doesn’t apply but just for information purposes, if the casino you’re at is using a continuous shuffle machine, counting cards is impossible, don’t even bother.

Roulette is one of the easiest games to play in the casino while also being one of the most enjoyable. In order to play Roulette, you must first place a wager on a number (or set of numbers) ranging from 1 to 36. There are two additional numbers, 0 and 00, giving you 38 numbers in total. The colors from 1 to 36 are will either be black or red. Besides betting on a number or set of numbers, you also have the option of betting on either color, black or red. Once bets have been placed, the dealer spins the wheel, with a ball spinning in the opposite direction until it eventually slows down and falls into one of the numbered slots on the wheel. You are a winner if the ball lands on the number and/or color that you wagered on.

The rules of the game are quite straightforward. Once you’re got a handle on the rules, you will be able to figure out what betting strategy best suit your individual style.
The rules for playing Roulette are as follows:
You may wager on a single numbers or several at a time
You may wager on black or red along with a host of “outside” bets such as:
  • Odd or even numbers
  • Bet the split (bet on two adjacent numbers) (IMG)
  • Bet the street (Bet on three consecutive numbers in a horizontal line) (IMG)
  • Bet the corner/square (Bet on four numbers that meet at a corner on the board) (IMG)
  • Bet on numbers 1-18 (Low) or 19-36 (High) (IMG)
  • Dozen bets (1-12, 13-24, 25-36) (IMG)
Once the winning number and color have been determined, the dealer will put down a marker on the winning number. Only once the marker has been removed from the table can winnings be collected and another wager placed.

Roulette strategy

First of all, if you are a serious Roulette player, you most likely employ a strategy that you are comfortable with. What we want to let you know is your strategy is as good as any expert that claims to have figured out how to beat a Roulette table. Please be warned, there is not a single Roulette strategy that has been proven to work outside of the old days when a professional gamblers figured out the patterns of old school wheels which have all since been replaced. The most recent case, 30+ years ago, a few gentlemen used complicated mathematical pattern to beat a few casinos in Europe. For this reason, casinos worldwide now randomly change the wheel heads and pocket rings at tables not to mention they themselves track the results to make sure it is actually random. On top of all of this, you are playing online so none of these apply. They are however worth mentioning because we feel that if you have taken the time to read this, you should be warned against anyone trying to mislead you.

The best system you can use is understanding the odds of winning your bets + the payouts those bets would return. Based on that you can make a decision that is comfortable to your playing style so that you have fun playing as opposed to stressing yourself over an imaginary “system”. Enjoy your Roulette experience and choose the system that you enjoy. It’s just as good as any.
Payout structure:
  • Bet on any single number = 35 to 1 payout
  • The split = 17 to 1 payout
  • The street =11 to 1 payout
  • The corner = 8 to 1 payout
  • Dozen bets = 2 to 1 payout
  • 1-18 (Low) and 19-36 (High)= 1 to 1 payout
  • Red, Black, Odds, Evens = 1 to 1 payout

Placing Bets in Roulette

Players are given chips which they will place on the roulette table. Placing bets directly on numbers or groups of numbers inside the table are inside bets. Placing bets on the outer edges of the numbers on the table, betting on the expected colour the pill will fall on, or betting on odds and evens are outside bets.
Once bets have been made by placing the chips on the expected outcome on the table, the wheel is set in motion by the croupier spinning the roulette wheel and the small metal ball is thrown onto the rotating wheel. Eventually the game comes to an end when the wheel concludes its spin and the outcome of the game is revealed when the ball lands on its designated spot.
Bets are paid out according to wagers made. It’s a simple process and a fast one at that, adding appeal to the already popular casino game here at Cloudbet Online Casino.

Pai Gow is a form of poker where the object of the game is to create 2 separate poker hands out of the seven cards dealt to start the game. The first hand must contain 5 cards and the second hand 2 cards. The 5 card hand must be the higher of the 2 hands (meaning your 2 card hand can’t be able to beat your 5 card hand). Normal poker hand rankings apply. In order to win, both of the player’s hands must beat the dealers hands. If not the result is a push.

One reason for the popularity of Pai Gow poker is that it is slower paced than regular poker and therefore more relaxing to play.
If you don’t understand poker, it would be wise to visit the following like HERE (link) before playing Pai Gow poker.
Here are the general rules:
  • Although standard poker hand rankings do apply, there is one exception. This is referred to as the “wheel”. The “wheel” is the following hand (A-2-3-4-5). It is considered the second highest straight in the game.
  • Joker’s are semi wild in the sense that they can be used for as on Ace (usually in your 2 card .hand) or to complete one of the following ONLY: Straight, Flush, Straight Flush and Royal Flush.
  • To begin the game 7 cards are dealt to the player and dealer.
  • From those 7 cards the player must make the best 5 card hand he can and a 2 card hand.
  • The best possible 2 card hand is a pair or high card (this makes it easier to figure things out).
  • After the player has set his 2 hands, the dealer will turn over his cards and make his 2 hands according to the “house way”. (Not sure if they wanna provide a link to this)
  • The 2 high hands will be compared as will the low hands. In the even that there is a tie (you and the dealer have the same 2 card hand for example) the dealer wins any tie.
  • If the player looses both hand they loose their money
  • If the player looses one and wins one, it is considered a push
  • If the player wins both, they win even money (1:1) minus 5% commission.

Just like regular poker, Pai Gow poker does involve strategy. The focus in Pai Gow strategy has to do more with how you should split the 7 cards dealt into 2 hands. Here are a few tips to get you started:

  • If your hand is completely unconnected, play your Highest card in your 5 card hand and your Second and Third highest cards in your 2 card hand
  • If you only have 1 pair, play that in your 5 card hand and your two highest cards left in your 2 card hand
  • If you have 2 pairs, you should split them if one of them is a pair of Aces (remember that your 5 card hand MUST be stronger, therefore in this case the pair of Aces would go into your 5 card hand).
  • You should also split 2 pairs if both of them are high pairs (an example of a high pair would be anything Jacks or higher)

Of course there are many other Pai Gow strategies available once you get into the swing of the game. With these tips we have provide, you have all you need to get started on your experience playing this exciting game.

How to Play Baccarat

Baccarat is an incredibly popular casino game and graces the lobbies of both land based and online casinos. To expand your gaming options, baccarat is a highly recommended game due to its simple nature and comprehensive set of rules. It’s also often referred to as Punto Banco in the Asian casino scene.
It is thought to have originated in Italy or France in 1330 and has, for centuries, been added to the lobbies of successful and influential online casinos.
So if you are looking to play something entirely different and stand a real chance of winning, learn how to play baccarat right here in a matter of minutes!
The Basics of Baccarat
Both the dealer and the player are dealt a hand and players can bet on either hand. The player plays against the dealer and there is always a winner and a loser in the round. Two cards are dealt with both the banker and the player. The table is marked and there is a total of 3 betting boxes: one for the banker, one for the player, and one for a tie. The hand with the highest total wins.

Calculating Points in Baccarat

As this is a game based on the highest winning hands, the total of each hand dealt determines which the winning hand is. The highest score in baccarat is 9 and as such anything totaling over 9 is not counted. Cards ranging from 10 to King are counted as zero. Cards ranging from 2 to 9 are face value cards and an Ace counts as 1 point.
When the value of a hand reaches a double digit, the first digit falls away. For example, if a player’s hand is valued at 17, the first digit falls away leaving the total at 7.

Bets are placed on either the ‘Banker’, ‘Player’ or ‘Tie’ and they are placed before hands are dealt.
The casino dealer (banker) will have what is referred to as a ‘shoe’ and will shuffle the deck of cards followed by sliding a card facing upward in the ‘Players’ box. This step is followed by the dealer doing the same in the ‘Bankers’ box. The player is then dealt with another card, once again followed by the dealer’s card. Cards are then flipped to reveal the winning hand.

A Natural Win – This is referred to as the hand that has initially been dealt and produces a win of points that total 8 or 9.
Third Card – If both hands have yet to reach a total of 8 or 9 a third card is drawn and revealed to show which hand wins.
There are rules for both the banker and the player when a third card is drawn as is as follows.
When the player’s hand reaches 8 or 9 it is a win. When this doesn’t happen a third card is dealt with. The player’s hand, if it reaches a total of 6 or 7, will always stand. A third card is drawn when the hand totals anything up to 5 unless of course the banker’s hand is valued at 8 or 9. In this instance, the banker will win.
The rules for the banker are as follows:
If the banker’s hand totals 1 or 2 he will then draw a third card unless the player has reached 8 or 9. The banker will also draw a third card if the player’s hand ranges from 1 to 9. It is important to note that the banker will stand if the player’s third card is 8. There are more rules for the banker than there are for the player and playing in accordance with these rules comes more naturally than one would expect.
The Winning Hand in Baccarat
The winning hand, after all cards have been dealt and bets have been placed, is the hand that reaches the total points closest to 9. The game that has been gripping the interest of gamblers for centuries will never exceed the total of 3 cards per player. A tie results in neither party winning and there is no money exchanged. Finally, if players wish to do so, they can bet on the outcome of being a tie which allows bets to be placed on the box that states ‘Tie’. However, this is rarely bet on as the chances of the game being a tie are slim though not impossible.
The Bankers Commission
All players should note that no matter where you play baccarat the banker will always take a 5% commission. However, the commission is only paid when the banker’s hand wins. There is a specified ‘Commission’ box and the amount is paid on each winning hand in favour of the banker.
The commission is null if the game is a tie.
Baccarat Strategies
It is important to form a strategy, especially if you are playing to win. The good news is that baccarat is a casino game that can easily be strategized. Despite being a game of chance, simply by understanding the rules, players improve the odds against them and stand a chance of winning.
Betting on streaks is a common practice amongst baccarat players. This is a strategy that is used in part of betting on a pattern. Players will bet on ‘Player’ then ‘Banker’ and so forth and use this as a streak until they hit a win. Alternatively, players enjoy free baccarat games before wagering real cash, another popular strategy utilized by gaming enthusiasts.
This game of chance is based solely on guessing the outcome of the game and as such the banker has the advantage. This gives the house edge a percentage of 1.36% of each bet. The house edge is the profit the casino makes from having the advantage. This particular casino game offers a low house edge and as a result, it has become a preferred game amongst players with lower bankrolls. The banker’s hand will almost always win 45% of the time which is why it is important to come up with a strategy. A tie will win roughly 9% of the time, clearly showing how rare a tie is albeit not altogether impossible. This gives the bank the advantage and is why it is advisable for new players to bet lightly until some skill is formed and the game and payouts better understood.
By managing your bankroll and placing bets with precise money management, players have already formed a reliable strategy!
